Welcome to the Parent Teacher Association for Malibu Elementary School in Virginia Beach. Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
The Malibu Elementary School PTA brings families and educators together to enrich our children's education, promote self-esteem, and solve school needs through volunteering and funding. We strive to foster passion for the arts, STEM, cultural awareness, and health and wellness in our community. Now Accepting Candy Donations for Trunk-Or-Treat!
It's getting closer to spooky season, and we are getting ready for our annual Trunk-or-Treat! Â Please bring or send in candy donations starting Tuesday, September 27th. Â Candy collection buckets will be available at Ms. Lyon's front desk and at the parent drop off/pick-up line.Â
PTA Reflections Contest - entries due October 21st
The PTA Reflections Contest is now underway! Â The theme this year is "Show Your Voice" and encourages students to explore what they want to say about themselves, their community, culture, etc. through visual art, film, dance, music composition, or literature. WATCH D.O.G. Program now Open!
Interested in volunteering at Malibu? Â Come be a WATCH D.O.G. (Dads of Great students) for a day and get to work in your child's class, help other teachers and students as needed, and be an extra set of eyes and ears for the school.
