JOHN PRINE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

John W. Prine
John Prine was the Principal of Malibu Elementary School from 1979 to 1988.

The John Prine Memorial Scholarship is a $500.00 scholarship awarded annually by the Malibu Elementary School PTA to a graduating Senior who previously attended Malibu Elementary School. To apply, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Previously attended Malibu Elementary School;
  • Acceptance at a qualifying institution* for the school year beginning in Fall 2023;
  • Minimum 2.5 grade point average (on a scale of 4.0) as of the Third Quarter, Spring 2023;
  • Demonstrated responsibility, character, and leadership during their high school career.

The deadline to apply for the John Prine Memorial Scholarship is May 14, 2023.
